My brother Sigwart Casson invited me to run the gate to gate ultra 2022 for his 30th birthday.
We were a group of five runners; three of us finished, me being the only female. We started running at 7:07 am in the West gate parking lot. I received support at km 14 at Smoke lake, at km 34 at Lake of Two Rivers and at km 48 at Brewer lake, as well as a lot of cheering from our families when they drove by.
From km 34, I could catch up with my brother, and we managed to run the last part together. From km 48, his sister-in-law accompanied us. My first ultra and so far the best :)
