Glorious day to be out on these trails. Visited some of my favorite birch trees, snuck a moose and beaver sighting, and had a lot of fun putzing up and down the ridgeline. Dry trail conditions - blew by about 100 dry stream beds and saw maybe 5 that still had a fighting trickle.

I followed a trail detour that took me along Duxbury Rd for about 0.7 miles shortly following the Rt. 2 crossing.
