Conditions were warm and fully exposed, starting at approximately 22°C and rising to ~26°C by the finish.
The route was followed as marked; however, an unplanned detour through dense vegetation and rocky terrain occurred when moving around the Boneyard Beach/Bombo headland before rejoining the official trail. This section resulted in a brief loss of time but did not materially alter the overall route distance or direction.
Effort was completed continuously without assistance. I carried 1.7L of liquid fuel with me.
Looking forward to giving it another crack in the future.
