Began at Lake Bluff and cruised west 7.8 miles. Pretty intense snow flurries (had to turn my cap forward to shield my eyes from the headwind-driven flakes).
About 1 inch of accumulated snow on the elevated rail crossings which was treacherous but otherwise trail was smooth sailing.
Reached Brice Avenue at 51:31 before turning around to complete the out & back in 1:47:41.
Got caught at the rail crossing after N Skokie Highway and idled for 2 or 3 minutes waiting for train to pass (my first time dealing with a trail during a time trial... good breather ha! :-)
