I began at Clifton Heritage National Park with a foot in the Caribbean then followed the coastal trail to Jaws Beach before heading east via Western Road, Windsor Field Road, John F Kennedy Drive, Harold Road, and Prince Charles Drive. I finished at Culberts Point by dipping a toe in the Caribbean at the farthest eastern shore for a total of 21.96 miles over 3:28:31.
I ran by myself for the entirety though hundreds of motorists passed me on the busy streets. I aimed to go unsupported the full way but was super thirty 18ish miles in so opted for a gatorade + Doritos at a quicky mart along Prince Charles Drive.
It was a sunny and gusty afternoon with occasional headwinds of 20 MPH from the NE... And a very special day for me too as I celebrated nine years sober! :-)
