Watch got lost in the sauce a bit on the way down in the trees but I remained on the current official trail as of Aug 2025 the entire way up and down. The trail has recently been rerouted above tree line and the old trail obviously closed with significant rock coverage. My above tree line route was different than the existing FKT, but given the distance is the same and I took a fairly decent chunk of time off, I believe my GPX should now be the official "2024 reroute" variation and there is no need to create another variation.
