First time in the Three Sisters Wilderness, amazing place.
- South 1:40
- Middle 3:09
- North 4:07
- Pole Creek TH 5:32
Onsight review beta spray below.
Probably a better line to be found descending the top of South, just needed to find a nicer scree gulley. Mid-mountain and below was super quick terrain though. Upper slopes of Middle was a scree treadmill, shoulda sent the snowfield or ridge proper. Cutting down the cliff band between Middle and North seems trivial and a bit faster. First little bit of North ascent was another scree treadmill, might have missed a “trail”. Little bit of snow left on the Terrible Traverse, but nice steps and secure with an axe. Bowling Alley and summit block of North was way nicer than expected based on online reports, not even that chossy. Descending through some folks abseiling made things a bit spicier and slow. Definitely a lot of rocks to be pulled and kicked off. SE face scree descent to trail was perfection after the top ~200 feet. Hot, exposed rip back to TH with two small creeks to cool off in.
