The climb up to the fire tower was super gnarly and hot, definitely should’ve started earlier. Luckily was able to make up for it on the downhill. Second climb was tough too just from being out in the heat all day. Carried 2L of water which I used all of, had to ration a little at the end. Took too many snacks in my pack though. Overall, happy I came through under 4, although could definitely go better with a little more preparation and less heat.
