I, Isaac Kenyon, set my sights on both summiting and running 218km (135 miles) between three peaks in Wales (Mt. Snowdon, Cadir Idris and Pen-y-Fan). I ended up running 233km as I often took a route which may not have had a path there anymore so had to go around and over different areas than planned. I covered 8,450m of elevation and fortunately completed the route faster than I had planned which was originally 4 days. On day 3 I used a lot of roads to be able to make up a quicker time. I refuelled at various different shops along the route carrying the food and drink in my bag as I went. Throughout the journey, I traversed some of the best nature spots and countryside Wales has to offer. I loved reconnecting with the outdoors as the journey was a natural well-being prescription for his physical and mental health. I have used this journey to raise awareness of mental health and made a documentary where a film crew filmed me the entire way. I had a lifestraw bottle as well where I was able to filter water from streams! Very handy.
