Hello, I am looking to complete the fastest known time for this route. I'm hoping that by setting the record I could raise awareness of neurological conditions and how they can help people overcome great obstacles in life. I have a few questions if anyone can help me:
Has anyone ever posted a time for this and if so where could I find it?
Also does this route include going to the top of Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan?
Do you know the history of the Welsh Three peaks challenge, for example how long has it been completed and if so do you have any records of the fastest times that its been completed in?
Hi,
I set this up as I planned to try and set the FKT last August. Unfortunately it didn't go to plan at all and I had to bail part way through. (Its all learning!) I was inspired to have a crack at it off the back of Lowri Morgan doing it over 3 days for her TV docu. The research I could found only showed her as completeing it entirely on foot.
Obviously an FKT has now been set by Issac (Bravo Issac!!)
I am heading back for take 2 in a couple of weeks time to try again.
For info the route shown on here was composed by myself but in my view as long as any attempt incorporates climbing all 3 peaks then it will class as a valid attempt. I would suggest that the finish point will be the top of which ever mountain you choose to do last. For me that will be PF.

Sorry Isaac I spelt your name wrong above...
