Started mellow as was originally just planning on going hard for the ~30 minute segment from the pass to the summit. Got to the summit and was on pace for the previous FKT, but didn't run hard down the peak until the pass as recently broke my hand and didn't want to re-injure it. Arrived back at the saddle and saw I was still within reach so ran hard the last few miles down to the car for the new FKT. Don't expect this one to last very long; you should be able to get it pretty easily with a full effort from car to car.
