A very aesthetic loop around Mount Yale, one of Colorado greatest 14,000ft peaks.
I took off pretty hard on the CT, and after dropping down to CR 365 I tried to maintain an honest effort on the long 7 mile climb up to Brown's Pass. Thunder was booming as I climbed to the high point, but I managed to sneak over the pass after the storm had rolled through that area. Then it was 5 miles of pretty cruiser trail down to Denny Creek TH, followed by a not so fun 3 miles on the busy road back to the Avalanche TH.
