Inaugural guided long distance walk by Mountain Craft (Jacob) along the Hiraethog Trail from Pentrefoelas to Bodfari. The weather was reasonable for the 6am start and along the moorland stretch but it then rained on-and-off in the afternoon through the Clocaenog Forest section. It is a great route but challenging due to the relative obscurity of it, despite being a national trail there are many stretches in need of work. Hopefully more will take on the Hiraethog Trail as I cannot find any recorded single day attempts online. We were supported by Nick Livesey at 4 checkpoints as there are few to no facilities along the way.
