On day 47 of the Washington Bulgers FKT attempt, Nathan Longhurst and I took on Shuksan and Baker.
We started on Shuksan at 3:32am...standard route was in great condition. we scrambled the 4th class ridge instead of the gully on the way up...IT WAS SO EXCELLENT! just super flowy!
We started Baker at 12:18pm. The Easton was in terrible condition. Lots of end runs and sketchy snow bridges while climbing slush. the top was melted into an ash-mud-milkshake-wet cement mixture... we were both seriously grinding. ...down was some sketchy-fun though.
