My family drove me to Sheridan, IN parking area and I ran the Monon Trail south to the end at 10th Street in Indianapolis where they picked me up. It was a chilly and blustery day with a bit of a head wind for most of the run. I carried 1L of water in my vest with a couple packs of fruit snacks. I planned on this being an easy long run but ended up going faster than I wanted to for the first half of the run. As for the trail, it was easy to follow and had no navigation issues. Previous posts mentioned detours along the route, but construction appears completed with no more detours. The trail is all paved and flat with only a few inclines from bridges to cross. I did stop a couple of times due to traffic, but overall wasn't too bad and only added about 30-45 seconds to my time.
