Got a ride from a friend up to the PA/MD line on a warm December day. Decided a point to point long run would be a fun way to run the NCR trail from end to end. Enjoyed the first downhill section and the miles passed quickly, decided to run a few faster miles in the mid 5's once it flattened out but started to get tired after that. It got colder and darker as I went on and the last few miles were basically pitch black (should have brought a head lamp).
I'm hoping to run the whole 47 mile trail (York heritage and NCR) at some point this month if the weather is good on a weekend.
