I started at the South Trailhead of the Duff Roblin Parkway Trail in St. Norbert at 6:04am on July 11, 2020 with my nephew Hudson (on his bike). The temperatures were ideal to start, around 14 degrees or so, but this trail is fully exposed to sunlight, and it got hotter as this run progressed. I carried a few hundred calories, 2 bottles, and my phone in my pack, and Hudson refilled my bottles and carried the extra fluid. I ran did a fairly easy Zone 2 effort throughout this effort, with the most amount of struggles (a little GI) between 25 and 38km or so. After 3 hours, 53 minutes, and 56 seconds, I touched the sign at the North Trailhead in Lockport, MB. My watch readout for distance was 44.78km. The signage on the trail would suggest that the distance is ~45.75km or so.
