Great fun taking on this route today. Such a fun route, the first half is hilly & lots of fields and the second half sticks to the river.
I took this on fully unsupported so started off with plenty of Tailwind & water. Body felt good until there was 4km left. Kept it steady on the hills and battled it out on some epic mud - it's deffo muddy out there at the moment!
The wheels started to fall off slightly with 4kms left to go and I had some very sore hamstrings but I kept on trucking and managed to get to the end!
Now it's time for some recovery & pizza!
