Route: Oswestry Round (United Kingdom)

The Oswestry Round is a fun trail route, beginning in St Martins and the circling Oswestry via Chirk, Sellatyn, The Racecourse, Llanymynech before a return to St Martins via the Montgomery canal.

Note that some earlier runs started in the town of Ifton Heath, and did not complete the loop.  According to LDWA, the Oswestry Round completes a loop by running along Llangollen Canal between Sarn Lane and Station Road.  For the FKT, it is important to follow the official route.

Note also that the LDWA site indicates that the route starts/ends at the Lion Quays Resort, so the short out & back section to the Resort is required regardless of starting location.
