The One Hundred RIO FKT "Caminho do Imperador" is perfect for athletes who are always up for a good long distance challenge.
This challenge consists of running the distance of 100 miles (160,94 km) with approximately 3.000 m of positive gains.
The course begins in Barra Mansa and ends in the Cathedral of Petrópolis.
I was the one of two pioneering athletes who wished to set the initial FKT.
There were 5 cars accompanying me and two bikes. These vehicles were composed of support crews, the video team , photography team , nutritionist Carla Bogea and physical therapist Marta Guimarães.
Also with us was a car from the magazine Revista Trail Running with Valmir Lana Jr. covering the entire event.

and Crew Filipe Marcelino.
This event also featured photographic coverage, with a well-known photographer from Portugal, Matias Novo - Fotografias. Working alongside the great Brazilian photographer , Sergio Gomes, who made a career in Trail Running photography. The video team was led by Lipe Nascimento.
