Ran from the Cooke city side, Clarks Fork Trailhead to East Rosebud and back. First time on the trail. I knew the one way fkt and I thought I could go a little faster and still have gas to get home. Turns out from Clarks to East Rosebud is a lot easier than the other way, especially after having run 27miles?. Its an absolutely beautiful trail and I highly recommend it. Especially the round trip, save gas. I haven't run that much all summer, but I felt pretty good the entire way. Of course there is a lot more climbing going to Clarks fork. But my legs felt pretty good, fought a bit of a headwind, and a bit of queasiness; otherwise a glorious day!
