Beautiful, peaceful single track through dense forest. Lots of rocks and roots to negotiate, although there is also some smooth dirt as well. A few steep descents into the river canyon and climbs back up. No significant water in the mostly-dry creek beds.
Started early to avoid the day's heat although it was still quite humid.
I would highly recommend this route if you are in the Columbia, Missouri area.
