This was the inaugural Farm to Founders 50K - a route I had had in my head for years that runs from the northernmost point of the Rock Creek trail system in rural Montgomery County, to the southernmost point at the National Mall. We had one support point along the way with water at the Russett Road trail access in Aspen Hill. The finish includes a lap around the reflecting pool to get the distance to 50K.
