After studying County Council guides and other literature, the proper start/finish appears to me to be the Knightley Way sign at SP 56000 58710 and the Butchers Arms pub, SE corner SP 66775 49825 as a nominal touch points.
Lovely day, ground surprisingly dry. OK, a cheeky FKT, simply being the first submitted and having walked most of it, a few short runs, but gives a good base to build on.
