Zach and I ran the entire route together following the original gpx file linked to the FKT website without any issues.
We brought all of our food with us but resupplied with water from water fountains at several trailheads: Echo Canyon Trailhead on the way back down from Camelback, one of the Piestewa Peak Trailheads, and North Mountain Visitor Center. We were hoping to refill water at Dreamy Draw Recreation Area between Piestewa Peak and North Mountain, but the water was turned off (I think construction going on).
Thank you to Jeff for establishing this route! It was a fun way to tag the peaks of Phoenix in one run!
