What a fun loop. Flume slide is a nice gradual climb until it isn't, took a pretty scary fall and was able to arrest my decent before any major damage was done. Just slipped on a little bit of wet rock, I can't imagine how sketchy this trail would be if it were raining. Pretty muggy night out there, it was a creepy post apocalyptic haze looking across the Franconia Notch when I was up on the ridge. Almost took out three boy scouts who haven't mastered going to the right when someone says on your left but no boy scout or trail runners were injured in this evening train run.
