Kate's one-way time was 3:01 and change, which would be a one-way FKT, but apparently was beaten within a couple of days.
"I've done south to north once before. I wasn't happy with that time, although it's the current FKT. So I set out to beat it. I cut 15 minutes off my original time, knowing the trail and not getting lost definitely helps. Got to the turn around point and thought I had a pebble in my shoe. Well, I was wrong. Heel blister. I was in so much pain on the return I ended up walking sections I could normally run. Either way, still got it done. Now to fix my feet."
