I have spent my summers hiking in Camden Hills State Park since I was young and lived in the area for most of the pandemic, so it was fun to use my home field navigation advantage to tackle a route that has been on my bucket list for a while. I started with Battie, Megunticook, and then Maiden's Cliff to get the biggest climbs out of the way early, and then headed over to Cameron, Derry, Frohock, and finally Bald Rock before enjoying some easier and less technical miles on the multi-use trail on the way back. Overall highly recommend this route (Maiden is quite the grind so getting it out of the way early is ideal). I also tagged Zeke's Lookout, although it wasn't clear whether this was required based on the instructions. Very quiet day on the trails (I only saw about three other people, which was surprising for Columbus Day weekend) and I carried about 2 liters of water in my trail running pack and plenty of snacks.
