Another gorgeous outing for the Grayslake Distance Project. The trail was basically all gravel, hugging the highway for 80% of it. Very easy to navigate, with great signage for when there is a rare turn. FYI, on the northern trailhead we ended up parking at The Irish Cottage right across the highway and it worked out well! Ending in Burlington was nice as we stopped at the Town Fryer after for the post-run recovery. Overall another nice route going through the Wisconsin countryside!
