FKT: Kevin Boyle - Oak Leaf Trail, Oak Creek Line (WI) - 2024-03-09

The Grayslake Distance Project has now set an FKT on all portions of the Oak Leaf Trail!

I started by parking at a small lot right at Greenlawn Park, about .2 miles from the N trailhead. It's a gorgeous trail, all asphalt with a few road miles mixed in (I only got passed by a few cars). Beware of running the trail after a heavy rain day; there were some portions about 1.5 miles from the N trailhead covered with 4" of water. 

It was a nice morning. It was about 35 degrees, and the winds were 13 mph from the NW.
