Description

The Oak Leaf Trail is a multi-use trail system with over 135 miles of trail for cycling, roller blading, walking, birding and running around Milwaukee County. Nearly a quarter of the trail hugs the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. The trail system is mostly smooth asphalt, with dozens of easily accessed connections that take you just about anywhere in the Milwaukee metro area. Portions of the trail are on Milwaukee County parkways, shared with traffic, and some sections use municipal streets.

Oak Creek Line
The northern tip of this line is Greenlawn Park on East Manitoba Avenue, Oak Creek. From there, it runs southeast along part of the North Shore Right of Way (ROW) and can be connected to the South Shore Line via the Drexel Connector. The line leaves North Shore ROW to ramble along Oak Creek and briefly along Ryan Road before rejoining North Shore ROW. This south eastern section of the trail connects the Oak Creek Parkway with the southern edge of the Root River Parkway, for a time touching the southern edge of Milwaukee County. The southern end of the Oak Creek Line is a rural-feeling section of South Howell Avenue. Enjoy everything from green parks to tree cover to open cornfields.

I am interested in running this out and back. Can this option be added? If so, I'll be running it at Saturday, January 27th. Thanks!
