Started just before 2am. Ran the city pavement section from the Bay to the trailhead in 3 hours. Then switched to hiking mode for the long uphills on trails to the top. I took it easy for the last couple of miles, walking most of the way to the finish even though the last stretch is a gentle enough of a grade to be runnable.
Ran the event unsupported. Carried everything I needed in my 100oz Camelback and did not resupply with anything on the course. Ran out of water about a half hour from the top, but that just meant there was less weight to carry.
