On September 3, 2020, I started at Überlingen station early in the morning at 04.24 a.m. I ran the Jubilaeumsweg Bodenseekreis in the opposite direction. The path led through the villages of Owingen, Heiligenberg, Markdorf, Meckenbeuren and Neukirch to Kressbronn, where I finally arrived on September 4, 2020 at 04:17 a.m. I carried all food supplies with me. Water was taken from untapped public water wells, except in one case where I took the water from a public tap in a publicly accessible cemetery.  I had no accompaniers. I therefore consider the run to be unsupported. Even though the path is signposted throughout, I occasionally found it difficult to navigate correctly, especially at night and in the forest. Possibly there are missing markings here and there due to forest works. So sometimes I strayed off the track. In these cases I tried to go back to the last signpost and re-sart from there. These detours resulted in an additional distance of about 10 kilometers. I navigated with a Garmin etrex 20x and my Garmin Fenix 3-watch, which ran in UltraTrac mode. The gpx file at hand is based on the etrex data. Technically, I had to merge two tracks for the same run. The two tracks connect in Enzisweiler. Until about km 80 I was doing quite well, then I slowed down. Running and walking phases alternated throughout the activity. I climbed the two observation towers. Where it seemed to make sense, I enjoyed the wonderful view over Lake Constance and into the Alps. I took several breaks to eat an and drink, to refill my water supply, to get a power nap or a few minutes of rest and relaxation. Even if the total time was not very fast: I am not used to these distances, so I found the distance from km 80 on quite exhausting. At least I was still able to calculate on the last 10 km and so I mobilized my energy to remain sub 24 hours at the finish line, which I managed. All in all, it was a great experience to run one day across my home county. Most of the locations I never saw before. I submitted the route to FKT and so I also had great pleasure in pioneering this route as a FKT route.
