Visiting my parents in Rhode Island and figured it was about time to run this route. Followed the gpx posted and started at Collier Point Park with my hand in the water and finished at Jerimoth Hill High Point. The end of this route had some tough hills to maintain my pace on, but I wanted to finish sub 9/min miles and hit the mark at 8:57!
Cool spring day allowed me to have a late morning start. Carried 4 x 500mL hydration flasks that required me to stop and swap out my two empties with the full ones half way. Some other minor stops along the way and the multiple red lights that I hit getting out of the city.
Had my parents and some family friends drop me off and meet me at the end to get some fun photos of the start/finish photos. Overall a very fun day!
