My husband was working in the village and I had some time to kill, so I ran up Granite Chief Trail towards the PCT. Wasn't sure if I was going all the way to Tinker Knob until I was about 6 miles in and figured might as well! Soooo pretty back there. Very green, lots of flowers, lots of mountain views, and some fun technical running throughout.
Completed the entire route solo and refilled my handheld in the many streams along the way. Said hello to a few groups of nice day and thru hikers. The guy sitting on the summit of the knob when I got up there didn't acknowledge my existence as he was taking it all the views.
Submitted the out-and-back segment CR from Strava. Started my watch a little before and stopped it a little after just to be safe since the start is kind of odd.
