FKT: Kristin Ritchie, Timothy Ritchie - Robert Frost Trail (MA) - 2020-05-20

Keeping with the original FKT we started at Wendall State Forest and ran to the Notch Visitor Center (https://www.amherstma.gov/DocumentCenter/View/610/Robert-Frost-Trail-Guide)
Started at 7:30am at Wendall Forest parking lot. Tim ran with me so we're calling this a mixed gender team but we each carried our own supplies and didn't share. A lot of new downed trees in Lawrence Swamp and some boards in need of replacement but otherwise course was in great shape. The benefit of doing this on a Wednesday morning was that we saw less than 20 people on the trail. Now we know why previous FKT was done in March; 70+ feels pretty warm after running for 7 hours. Good luck to the next team it would be cool to see the RFT grow in popularity.
