FKT: Kyle Obermann - Leh - Nanga Sago summit - 2024-06-14

Started at around 8am from the "I ❤️ Leh sign" on the market street hoping to summit by noon, but was about 30min off my goal pace but no water in the first 1000m of gain and tons of talus and scree and then post-holing in snow on top on scree for the last few 100m of gain slowed me down quite a bit. Would have loved to spend at least 60s on the summit but a thunderstorm rolled in forcing me to get down asap by glissading down the north side of the summit ridge which actually looks like it would be a better ascent too given the easier terrain and greater availability of water.
