Chose a hot, humid day for this run. At times with a fast friend, though he would leave me in the dust on descents! Made sure to run all the way to the tip for a dip in the lake before trudging back to the spotted car. Luckily no rattlesnakes were spotted, however the bugs were nasty, which was a surprise as it was so dry - only one trickle of a feeder stream a few miles from the finish where filtering was possible. Definitely glad I scoped this out prior to my 12ster attempt. Overall, reminiscent of 7 Sisters or the Devil's Path on the ridge.
