Route: Tongue Range (NY)

Deer leap to Clay Meadow Trailheads or the inverse. This is part of the Lake George 12ster, and is the most difficult range on the challenge. Watch out for rattlesnakes and enjoy the difficulties of the terrain. Fifth peak is on a spur trail and should not be ignored as it is a beautiful peak and part of the challenge. There is a lovely leanto that is maintained by some local legends. Enjoy the lake from above.
