Started at Massie Gap and followed the AT up to Mt. Rogers.  Was a very misty, rainy day which made some of the rocks quite slippery.  Saw more wild ponies than people due to the cloudy weather.  Got downpoured on at the summit but luckily it was just light misty drizzle most of the other time.   Loved this run to the highest point in VA!  So fun!
