The top half was hard and smooth, bordering on icy, but fast with spikes. The bottom half was definitely not the cruiser mile that it usually is. Very lumpy and bumpy from getting soft in the afternoons. I did my best to just mash through it! ? I beat the women's time by 10 minutes and my previous PR by 17 minutes!
