FKT: Leah Rife-Dupuy, Tammy Wilson - Evolution Loop (CA) - 2020-06-30

Tammy and I (Leah) set out to do the Evolution Loop via Lamarck Col this past summer, not knowing the amount of route finding, difficult scrambles and overall suffer fest that we were in for. We were lucky to have plenty of water sources to resupply, and even took a break in a stream to try to numb the pain in our legs (it did briefly...) around mile 24. Our average elevation for the entire run was 10,902 ft, and with three passes and a tricky amount of snow, we struggled at times. Overall, I'm so proud of us and our attempt!
