Third time on this trail and each summit feels completely different! Missed a turn and gifted myself some bonus miles 🤦‍♀️. Trail was smooth sailing until the Diamond Peak Tie—overgrown huckleberries + blowdowns made for a jungle crawl, but luckily it cleared up once I hit the main Diamond Peak trail. The big burn section wasn’t nearly as bad as I feared thanks to some friendly overcast skies.

Brought all my own food and water, refilled water twice, creek, and Vivian Lake! I was alone the whole time! Pretty wild out there!
