At 6:15 I set off from Lenham at the start point in the historic town.over 56 miles later at 18:37 I finished at the seal colony in Pegwell bay.12 hours and 22 minutes.I did this self supported.it’s a pretty good route,typical of the south eastern trails -orchards,fields,woodlands,nettles and mud.the route runs fast and I’m sure someone could knock it out in around 8 or 9 hours.a glorious finish to the seals ,one of my favourite animals.was a beauty moving through the miles,onwards and upwards.
