Report

I arrived up north on the Saturday afternoon and spent two nights relaxing and preparing in one of the luxury lodges on site, close to the sign. I had my logistic lead Chris Taylor who had planned the route, spoken to all local councils and was essentially dad for the whole trip. Alongside him was a good friend and massage therapist Josh Holman. Between him and Chris, they would support me throughout the entire challenge. One would follow me on a push bike and the other would drive my Campervan to the next meeting spot. I slept in my Campervan for the entire challenge and l paid for the crew, Chris, Josh and the 3 man film crew to stay in air BNB's or hotels every stop along the way.

Food was picked up as we needed it by the team. Usually they would call ahead from the next checkpoint and say what garages, or restaurants were close by and ask what l felt like at the time. Otherwise l had a ton of carb powders, gels and fresh fruit to keep me going which l stored within the Campervan.

Water was collected as we needed by the crew in shops, garages and the odd camp site along the way also.

If it is at all possible please use this link for VIMEO which shows the entire documentary. It was not liking it above - vimeo.com/1031723556/a46bed5307?share=copy

Also l must have been doing something wrong but the GPX files were not staying in the upload. I have them all saved on my desktop and also are available on my STRAVA account 'Leon BUSTIN' under the title JOGLE FOLLOWED BY THE DAY. Every step is on my account

P.S I originally never entered this as an FKT because to be completely honest l wasn't sure what it meant and Chris basically said it would require specific photos and evidence, at the time pre event l was actually recovering from a grade 3 MCL rupture and trying to fund this myself so l opted for no more stress. I regret it now as it was an incredible time in the end. The camera crew also had a photographer and was taking a TON of images throughout so if you need more l can gather them for sure.
