Mike and I ran this unsupported first weekend the trails reopened after mud season. Super hot day, decent amount of mud, downed trees and a little bit of snow. Got off trail a couple times then had to find our way back. Took the ladders outbound and inbound. Struggled the last few miles but managed to push to a solid finishing time, beating the women's record by 6 minutes. Carried everything from start to finish. Barely saw anyone else out on the trails that day.
