I started at 8.50am at the Old Grammar School in Market Harborough on a beautiful clear spring day. I followed the valley northeast across footpaths through fields and country roads to the impressive Harringworth Viaduct. At Weston by Welland I ran past the left turn initially before turning back. This added about 100 metres. Then just before I reached Medbourne I went into a field and then retreated because a herd of cows charged towards me. I turned left and went through a different field and joined Slawston Road. There were no other points where I went back on myself. I followed the route successful to Harringworth viaduct and it was pretty dry underfoot. I then looped back heading south and encountered no issues. I finished back at the Old Grammar School around 4.20pm, touched the pillar and went for a bottle of Coca Cola and packet of crips at Esquires coffee shop.
