FKT: Lisa Rising, Evelyn Needham - Bigelow Range Traverse (ME) - 2026-07-18

This route needed a women's FKT on the out-and-back! Great weather day though with some smoke blowing south from the Ontario wildfires. Carried all of our snacks out-and-back from the Curry Rd. trailhead. Filtered our water near the Little Bigelow Lean-To and at the Horn Pond Lean-to. Tagged North Horn on the way out but not the way back. Did not drink out of Cranberry Pond and got to run the last mile in the rain. I would call this a jointly held, unsupported female FKT.
