Beautiful day for a run around Portsea Island, tide was fully out which meant dry feet but mainly views of mud! I went clockwise starting at the Mountbatten centre on the new coastal path.
There are currently 3 diversions around the Island, some coastal defence work on the Eastern road by Langston Sports Ground, between Clarence pier and Old Portsmouth (I have included a pic of this taken from the other side of the moat that shows how extensive it is) and finally Gunwharf Quays, I couldn't get in from any entrance as there was security and barriers preventing access. For all 3 I went as close as I could go to both sides of the diversion.
This run was solo and unsupported
