FKT: Luke Larsen - Broken Top-South Sister (BTSS) (OR) - 2025-07-21

Did BTSS on 7/21/25. Broken top was pretty straight forward. Didn't feel like my decent was very quick going down. Like Alex Laub has said in a comment on this route I feel that it would be best if scree skiing was allowed. Going toward Lewis Lake was solid except for one large chunk of snow which made for very slow moving. From Lewis to the summit was a drag as I watched the average pace creep up to a point I didn't know if was recoverable. I also basically ran out of water at the same spot. Once I hit the flats on south I tried to open up. I went on the other side of Moraine Lake due to trail closures. Once I hit green lakes trail, I let it rip as much as I could.
